Charlotte Lines joined The Wilkes Partnership as a trainee Solicitor in 2018 and on completing her training contract at the firm qualified into the Corporate team in May 2020.

As a newly qualified solicitor, Charlotte works within the Corporate team advising on a wide range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, management buyouts, disposals, company reorganisations and share buy-backs.

Charlotte spent a large amount of her training contract within the Corporate team and gained valuable experience working with business clients of all sizes operating across a wide variety of sectors throughout the UK.

Ann has been with Wilkes since 1984 and heads up our Commercial Debt Recovery department.

She specialises in commercial debt collection on behalf of businesses of all sizes and has expertise of dealing with companies across a variety of different sectors.

 

Leenamari Aantaa-Collier is a Partner and Head of the Planning Law team at The Wilkes Partnership.

Leenamari advises clients in both the public and private sectors on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious planning law. This includes advising on the legal issues relating to applications, planning obligations, appeals, enforcement matters, injunctions, judicial reviews and Section 288 appeals.

Leenamari has a wealth of specialist knowledge and understanding of these areas that is founded upon her experience in Local Government and thereafter in the private sector. Leenamari spent many years as a LPA Principal Solicitor during which time she was concerned with extensive development management matters, including major development proposals and appeals along with the associated legal implications.

Her responsibilities also included supervision of the legal issues concerned with Plan making. In addition, Leenamari gained considerable practical experience in enforcement matters, including injunctions and the application of POCA. On moving from Local Government to the private sector Leenamari has been able to offer her unique insight and judgment to assist her clients (including many LPAs and other public bodies / NGOs).

Sharon started at Greenwood Solicitors in 1987 and joined the Commercial Debt Recovery team at Wilkes in October 2019.

She specialises in commercial debt collection on behalf of businesses of all sizes and has expertise of dealing with companies across a variety of different sectors.

Sharon is also experienced in dealing with High Court Enforcement Applications and ensuring that clients are kept informed with enforcement action. She has a fantastic reputation amongst her clients for delivering successful outcomes in respect of unpaid debt.

Owen joined The Wilkes Partnership as a trainee solicitor  in 2017, qualifying into the Corporate team in 2019.

As a newly qualified solicitor, Owen advises on a wide range of corporate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations, fundraising and share buy-backs.

 

Having previously been with Wilkes between 2013 and 2016 Karen Maddox rejoined the Wilkes Real Estate team in September 2019.

Karen has experience over a range of property matters such as sales and purchases, acting for lenders in relation to secure lending and landlord and tenant matters.

Tom joined Wilkes in February 2019 and has over 17 years’ experience as real estate solicitor and in that time has dealt with a wide range of transactions including landlord and tenant advice, sales and acquisitions, development matters and secured lending.

Having joined Wilkes in 2019 from Coley & Tilley, Neil is an Associate in our Real Estate team based in Birmingham.

Having joined the firm in 2019 from Coley & Tilley, Andrew is a Solicitor within our Commercial Dispute Resolution Team.

Andrew has experience of debt recovery, small claims and fast track litigation for both private individuals, businesses and charities.

He also works alongside our employment team on contentious litigation matters such as unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, discrimination, advising both the employer and employee.

In addition, he has worked alongside senior solicitors on complex multi-track matters and appeals.

Katie qualified in 2014 having undertaken her training on Harley Street in London having worked in litigation since 2009 prior to that.

Focusing on all Property Litigation matters. This includes Landlord and tenant issues both commercial and residential, boundary disputes and adverse possession.
