David Guest is a Partner in the Business Recovery and Turnaround team and joined Wilkes in 2022.
David qualified in 1989 at a now international law firm and has specialised in personal and corporate insolvency, business turnaround and shareholder disputes since he qualified.
With over 30 years experience, David acts for both office holders and directors in pursuing and defending antecedent transaction, misfeasance and breach of duty claims as well as being able to assist both corporate and individual clients in financial difficulties. His caseload is varied and covers advice to clients on all contentious issues arising from companies, individuals, partnerships, insolvent deceased estates and unincorporated associations. In addition, David regularly advises on disputed debt collection issues, shareholder disputes, unfair prejudice claims and the use of just and equitable winding-up petitions.
He prides himself on providing a pragmatic, balanced and commercial approach to his work.
