Wilkes Appoint HR & Compliance Director

Wilkes are delighted to welcome Zara Reed to the firm as HR & Compliance Director.

Zara will play a crucial role in supporting our continued growth and helping us to attract the next generation of legal talent. She will oversee our offices in Birmingham & Solihull as well as our Carvers offices, which collectively employ in excess of 150 people.

Zara joins from Ofqual, where she was Senior Business Partner, looking after general qualifications and Vocational Technical Qualifications. She has also held roles at law firms Kennedys and Eversheds.

When asked about her appointment Zara said: “Joining Wilkes at this time was the right choice for me, and I was impressed by the firm’s ambition. The firm already has a fantastic reputation and I will be helping to build this through new HR initiatives that retain and attract talent. It is an opportunity to bring my experience and strong emphasis on continuous development from Ofqual to make a positive impact”
