Property Demand in Solihull the Highest in the UK

Research carried out by eMoov.co.uk indicates that the largest percentage of houses sold in the last quarter of 2016 in the UK was in Solihull.

A percentage score is calculated by using the level of housing stock available and comparing that number to the amount of houses actually sold.  Solihull scored 77% – a score 10% higher than Portsmouth which came second in the research.  Solihull also found itself in the top ten for areas with the biggest increase in demand.

Amanda Holden, Senior Associate Solicitor and Head of Conveyancing at The Wilkes Partnership Solihull comments, “ This is more good news for the Solihull area and is really positive news for the property market in particular. Solihull is such a great place to live and to work and it is exciting to see the demand for housing in the area grow”.

Amanda says “ Buying and selling your home can be one of the most stressful times of peoples’ lives.  Having a Solicitor that knows the local area well can help to make the process easier and smoother.”
