Wilkes CSR Team Raise Funds with Food Fest

The Wilkes CSR Team in conjunction with Lloyds Bank have raised in excess of £1000 for the Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity with their latest fundraising event.

Local businesses Chung Ying Central, Yakinori and Zen Metro, alongside members of staff from Wilkes and Lloyds provided a fantastic selection of food from all around the world for staff and guests to indulge in.

The International Food Market was hosted at our Church Street office with deliveries also being made to our Solihull branch and Carvers offices in Hodgehill.

Partner & Head of CSR at Wilkes Tim Coplestone said “This year we asked Lloyds to join our annual food festival to help us with the final push towards our fundraising target and also to help us to promote the fantastic work that BCH on a local, national and international level. We were also delighted that Chung Ying, Yakinori and Zen Metro offered their support to help us make this event more of a success”.

In the run up to Christmas the Wilkes CSR Team will be busy with various initiatives such as, raffling off a days holiday to staff, Christmas jumper day and various fundraising events at the firms Christmas party.
