Wilkes’ Corporate Team assists with securing £2.25 million investment

The Wilkes Partnership Corporate Team recently acted for Staffordshire-based returnable transit packaging provider PPS Equipment Holdings (PPS), and assisted in securing a £2.25 million investment for the company.

 

The deal was led by Rick Smyth, Partner and supported by Kiran Munawar, Solicitor and Kylie Cartwright, Trainee Solicitor.

PPS are the UK’s market leader for returnable transit packaging services which includes the rental and pooling of plastic trays, crates and pallets and the washing, repairs and management of plastic returnable transit packaging.

The £2.25 million investment has been made by national investor Frontier Development Capital. The investment will support PPS in their continual growth by almost doubling their capacity through new machinery and investment into automation, which will also create 24 jobs at its production facility in Uttoxeter.
