Midlands-based law firm announces continued partnership with Alzheimer’s Research UK

The Wilkes Partnership have announce that it will be continuing to support their nominated charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK, for another year. The decision has been made to extend supporting the firm’s nominated charity for a term of two years going forward to allow a stronger relationship to build between the firm and charity, as well as being able to raise even more funds for vital causes.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity, which is dedicated to causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cure.

The Wilkes Partnership’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Team have organised a series of fundraising activities and events that will run throughout the year to help raise awareness and donations to Alzheimer’s Research UK and assist other local causes.

Charity events this year include a charity bike ride at the start of March, an Easter bake off, afternoon tea, pumpkin carving, a team office race where teams from the Solihull and Birmingham office are pitched against one another to see who can walk to each other’s offices the fastest, Christmas Jumper Day and taking part in the Giving Tree appeal. The firm will also continue to encourage staff to donate to their local food bank appeal at the end of every school term where collection boxes are placed in each office.

The firm also recently took part in the Le Tour in 24 charity event that was held to raise money for Arrive Alive.
