Upon joining the firm in 2013, Pam set up a team of lawyers specialising in employment law acting principally for employers, owner managers and senior executives. She works closely with James Leo, Employment Partner, in leading the team.

Pam provides clear and pragmatic advice to clients and provides bespoke solutions.

She acts for UK based clients, as well as those headquartered overseas including Europe and the US.

Successfully resolved a complex, multi-jurisdictional injunction claim in the High Court relating to a breach of post termination restrictive covenants by a former senior employee based in Dubai working for a UK based employer.

Advised on handling of a detailed and sensitive grievance investigation instigated by multiple staff alleging harassment against the Chief Executive Officer, and ensuing disciplinary and dismissal processes and handling of public relations statements internally and externally.

Advice on sponsorship licence applications and sponsoring of workers from overseas, and responsibilities of employers with regard to sponsor licences.

Advice on sole representative visa for key worker of US business setting up new branch in the UK and related employment law issues.

Advice on potential prosecution of employer relating to employment of illegal workers.

Detailed guidance to foreign headquartered company on the closure of UK office and ensuing employee redundancy/restructure programme.

Training managers & HR personnel on equality and diversity issues and other topics.
