Lisa provides advice and representation to businesses (including many international clients) along with individuals on a wide range of employment issues including unfair dismissal, claims under the Equality Act 2010, redundancy, TUPE, post termination restrictions, internal disciplinary and grievance matters and settlement agreements.
She has experience across a wide variety of commercial disputes, which include employment related contractual issues, such as breaches of confidentiality obligations, restrictive covenants as well as other express and implied duties. Lisa also works closely with the firm’s corporate team supporting their clients with day-to-day employment law advice and undertakes due diligence exercises in corporate transactions.
As well as representing clients in contentious matters, Lisa advises on all non-contentious issues including reviewing and drafting contracts of employment, policies and procedures as well as the provision of HR support.
She also has experience of advising on all elements of issuing and defending defamation proceedings including preparing and responding to pre-action correspondence.
She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association (ELA).
