New Property Partner for Wilkes Partnership

The Wilkes Partnership is pleased to announce the promotion of its head of real estate, Tim Coplestone, to partner.

Tim, who has been with the firm for over five years, has been instrumental in the success of the firm’s real estate department. He has particular expertise in mixed-use and commercial development, including town centre redevelopment, secured lending for banks and financial institutions and individuals, as well as on advising those looking to invest.

Nigel Wood, senior partner at The Wilkes Partnership, comments:
“Following our merger one year ago, The Wilkes Partnership has gone from strength to strength. We’ve been really impressed with Tim’s leadership of the Real Estate team. He’s very driven in terms of securing new work and always ensures excellent standards of client service. His spearheading of the firm’s new CSR strategy has also been invaluable and we’re pleased to welcome him to the partnership.”

On his promotion, Tim comments:
“Property work is very personal, and we pride ourselves on building quality relationships with our clients so they see us as trusted advisers who can take a long-term view of their business and truly point them in the best direction. For instance, some of the firm’s relationships with property clients go back more than 20 years.

“It’s an exciting time for the team at the moment, with new additions to the department in recent months and some interesting town centre regeneration schemes in the pipeline. I’m looking forward to continuing to lead the department as partner.”

Based in Leamington Spa, Tim splits his time between The Wilkes Partnership’s Birmingham and Solihull offices. He has previously worked in the real estate teams of both Eversheds and Wragge & Co. In his spare time Tim enjoys scuba diving, skiing, mountain biking and painting.
