• Transition to Residential or Nursing Care: The process of moving a loved one to residential or nursing care can be overwhelming. We can advise about the process and what support is available to the vulnerable individual.
• Challenging Assessments: If you feel that a care assessment does not accurately reflect your loved one’s needs, we challenge these assessments and get the care they deserve. Our experience helps us navigate the complexities of care assessments and ensures their needs are properly represented and met, removing the pressure and anxiety accompanying them.
• Continuing Healthcare: For those with long-term health conditions, we can review and advise regarding continuing healthcare funding.
• Safeguarding: Protecting vulnerable individuals from abuse, neglect, and exploitation is our priority. We implement robust safeguarding measures, train our staff to recognise signs of abuse, and ensure immediate and appropriate action is taken when necessary. We also offer resources and education to families and carers to help them understand and fulfil their safeguarding responsibilities so they can aid every effort to make your loved one’s life better.
• Addressing Suspected Abuse: If you suspect that a vulnerable adult is being abused, swift action is critical. We can support and advise those involved and liaise with relevant authorities to investigate the case and safeguard the individual involved.
• Professional Deputy, Attorney and Trustee Service: an individual’s vulnerabilities may mean that it is not appropriate for them to have access to their own money outright. Our team acts in the role of deputy, attorney and trustee to help safeguard an individual.
