Leading Birmingham law firm the Wilkes Partnership was delighted to host another successful Birmingham Professional Ladies Lunch Club. This time the networking event was held at Hotel Du Vin and marked the club’s annual Christmas celebration, with over sixty guests catching up over lunch.
The Ladies Lunch Club was set up over twenty years ago by two female partners from Wilkes, with the aim of offering a relaxed atmosphere to network and promote work referral opportunities. Now run by Tessa Rhodes, a Litigation Executive at Wilkes, the Lunch Club was the first female networking event in Birmingham and meets quarterly at various locations across the city centre.
Tessa comments “We are committed to expanding the group and always welcome enquiries from those looking to build their networks in a professional, yet relaxed environment”.
The next lunch will take place on 24th March 2016 at The Rep Theatre.
Sandy Sandhu, Founder of the Skin Practice said, “As an SME and relocating from Kent, I found this group to be a fantastic channel to connect with all types of women from different business sectors, to help build my business and make new friends.”
Adds Wilkes’ Managing Partner Mark Abrol, “I’m delighted with how the club has continued to grow, attracting high calibre professional businesswomen from a variety of industry sectors. Our objective at Wilkes’ is to develop long-lasting, trusted advisor relationships with our clients and fellow professionals. The Ladies Lunch Club is a testament to how our people deliver on that promise year after year”.
