We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our prosperous team. With a keen appetite to develop your career, you will be an integral member of the firm’s Employment department.
Reporting directly into the Head of Department, we seek a hard-working and ambitious individual with experience of both contentious and non-contentious employment law work. The role will be challenging and varied and you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of a combination of contentious and non-contentious employment related work including both respondent and claimant work.
You will be providing your clients with commercial advice and will be used to liaising on a regular basis with clients in face-to-face meetings. The role will be focused on business development, marketing and networking and you will ideally be well established within your field of expertise. As part of the employment team, you will be expected to provide advice on TUPE, redundancies, discrimination matters, settlement agreements, restructurings and Employment Tribunal cases. You will also support the Corporate /Commercial teams on transactional work.
This role is ideally suited to a 3-6 PQE Solicitor. You must be ambitious and enthusiastic and take ownership of your own career development. We are looking for a positive outlook and someone who is flexible to travel to both our offices and external networking events. It is essential that you have respondent and claimant experience; it is desirable that you have strong connections with West Midlands networking groups.
